Not much

The belt should be under $30, and then it just takes a few minutes to install it.

The thing to consider is that the belts often break because something froze up. A tensioner could have gone bad, or the alternator, or the power steering pump. All things to check

They also break because they get old. It's awesome that it was just the belt. The last time I replaced the serpentine belt in my vehicle, the belt cost $35. If your Jeep has the 4.0l i6, you should replace the pulley at the same time. I think that was about $30 more. If you have the 4.7l V8, you need to replace the tensioner. I don't know how much that would be but it would probably be more expensive than the pulley on the 4.0.

Labor should be minimal. It's an easy fix. :)

UGH! Hopefully your H can fix it. Cost me $150 to have it done... which I had to pay for as it was in for inspection and wouldn't pass without it. They even gave me the bad belt to *prove* that it really needed to be replaced!

Ours had a stone stuck in it or something and wore one of the ridges off it...
