Thank you, MOO and jo2love. After two days of cooking, then cleaning the kitchen, I'm exhausted! So right now I'm kicking back. There might be an Innis & Gunn in my near future.

Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

May your fridges be always filled with boxed milk, and your plates overflowing with gravy french fry things .

I had veggie chili on a bed of parmesan mashed potatoes. And wine.

Lots of wine.

And bike rides in the sunshine. It's gorgeous here at the moment.

Just finished up our traditional Newfoundland Jigg's Diner. We had friends over who do not have family in town and it was their first time eating salt beef and bread pudding. All in all a very entertaining thanksgiving weekend.

This is how she refers to poutine, our national dish! I propose we amend the saying "As American as apple pie" to read "As American as that apple and flour stuff".

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Good thing I wasn't cooking the dinner...I threw my back out on Sunday morning doing laundry!!!
Had a good time anyway.
As long as my girls are with me I am good.
They made me breakfast on Monday morning since I am still hobbling around.
Sweeties.
