I am struggling today friends. I've tried the exercises my therapist told me about. I've reached out to friends. I just can't shake this. Maybe this is just one of those shit days. There are. I butterflies today. I'm considering a "sick" day. Just going to the house and going to bed. This sucks. It just sucks.

I am so sorry, brother. There are shit days. Days when you just can't even force yourself to get out of bed to pee.

Hang in there. It will get better. It just takes a long time. Better days are coming.

(((((Sunsets))))) It does suck, honey. Some days, you just have to ride it out. Sending you strength and comfort.

It's one of the many dips in the sucky rollercoaster we have all been forced to ride. It won't last and you will be back on top again before you know it. Breathe. Relax. Ride it out and look for a better day tomorrow! It WILL get better!

This morning I woke up the same. Vicious nightmares , no sleep! But for me I find that if I don't run from it and I dive into it. I feel better. But I know that rollercoaster and it sucks brother. You are not alone. Sitting home when that happens will make it worse. Go to work be around people it will be better soon! " they say".

This is going to sound crazy, but research has shown that if you smile, there's a brain recognition in response and you feel a little better. So, the crazy part- when I get to a low dip in the roller coaster, I literally "ride" that son of a bitch roller coaster by doing "roller coaster squats". Hands up in the air at the top yelling WHEEEEEE! while smiling remembering my IRL fave coaster, then squatting at the bottom. The combination of the forced smiling and stupidity of it and the exercise always helps. Try thirty to start with..and make sure you are home alone. Just sayin' Hope just visualizing me doing this helped a little, and FWIW, it can scare the dogs, so be careful...

Aw I had a bad day too. Lots of tears, anger, and hurt today. On the upside my IC says when you recognize you are in a dark place, but that it is temporary, this is a sign of emotional maturity. So hang in there knowing a better day waits, and hugs and peace to you.
