Gorgeous scenery, darling girl, cute family, and drool-worthy food. What's not to love?

That food just made me want to eat a whole bunch of super fattening yummy treats.

I really like that first pic of the boardwalk.

The boardwalk one is pretty awesome.

Y'all KNOW I don't have any photographic evidence of Jpapa grinning. I do have one of him and Vrazz scowling... but I need to have him sign off on that one first.....

For the record, it was the Razzels who had to put up with a scowling, OCD, disgruntled College Football fan Jpapa. I had more fun than someone should be allowed to have and almost grinned in public more than once.

For context, that boardwalk was neccessary to recover from a chicken fried steak omlette and chocolate sundae for breakfast. Vrazz is smiling while golfing since she didn't have to hear the dudes complain about the reffing in the NFL. It is surprising that the Razzel portrait on the beach came out so well since the foolish photog was in shorts and a t-shirt and verging on hypothermia.( ) I think there was enough food. Vrazz is better at skipping rocks than I am.

In print???

I forgot the highlight of the weekend.

On Sunday morning while I was out goofing off, Jrazz made a most awesome breakfast which included one of my Mom's recipes that I had never tried. I had no idea what the recipe was supposed to taste like but, after eating Jrazz' version, I have a very high standard at which to aim. I can imagine my Mom looking down at me and saying, "That is how it is supposed to be done."

Well done Jrazz and thank you.

T/j in response to the woefully uninformed:That just happens to be a t-shirt from the FIRST GAME EVER UNDER THE LIGHTS at The Big House. It is illeagle in 49 states to disparage Notre Dame so be careful what you post on a public board.

Back to the subject of food, that is a mess o' One Pot Beans, another of my Mom's recipies and second only to Crack as the most requested food stuff.

Empress, the chicken fried steak omlette is one of those rare occasions where something that is so wrong in theory is so right in reality and it does goe great with a chocolate sundae at 10 am.

We can't forget Friday nights dinner: ---Lazano's Italian---garlic/cheesy/tomato/basil/pine nut bread, then fried ravioli's, followed by Lasagna(Jpapa) and Veal Scalopini (crazz) and THEN icecream!!

Something about Tahoe that brings out the huge meals, sleeping in like bums and great friends and family!!!

Mo3K, your DS13 is wise beyond his years.

For the record, I do not scowl nor do I make a stinkface. I merely remove all traces of emotion and let others interpret my expression as they will.

Also for the record, Vrazz broke out giggling right after that picture was taken so I totally dominated the youngster in that particular competition.
