Last night Wh and i were watching the tv series Bones, and in the show they were getting married. So my Wh started talking about our wedding and sweet memories.

I started crying. I was crying because he was bringing back those wedding memories and I remember being so insanely happy, and lucky and special after so long of waiting to be together, but I was also crying because how so badly hurt and betrayed I feel and how I am so much in pain from what he did.

He asked me why I was crying and was so confused. I didnt tell him. Maybe he knew.

Bitter sweet.

((((((Heartbroken)))))))))

So very sorry for your pain. Weddings are rough after Dday for sure.

Why didn't you tell WH why you were crying?

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck - it's not a fluffy pink unicorn squirting liquid rainbows, complete with pots of gold out of it's ass.

My family attended that wedding last night too! And I cried! I always cry at weddings but this time it was different.

My kids teased me for crying. My husband told them to be quiet and let me enjoy the wedding. Little did he know I was thinking about infidelity during what was a special moment for two of my favorite TV characters.

I was sitting beside my husband thinking about our wedding and then how he so carelessly broke those vows with 4 other women. The character of Sealy Booth would NEVER cheat on his new wife. But in reality, David Boreanaz did.

Infidelity is everywhere. Unfortunately, it is now engrained in our life story together. I know we have seemingly beat the odds with our R and how well it's going. But, weddings will never be the same for me again. TV or real...

((heartbroken))

I wonder if a few WS could reply on this? I was wondering if or how weddings affect them now?
I can tell when the preachers says to promise to be faithful my spouse reacts with a flinch.

There are degrees to which you let people back into your life and degrees to which you let them back into your heart-which, of course, are not the same thing
