Thank you for posting that. I found it extremely helpful, and I absolutely feel that way - like my whole life story has been hijacked and rewritten. Like the last twenty years of my life were a lie, and I no longer have a family history. I told my H, I feel like an amnesia victim who just woke up and is now trying to piece back together my life. I don't even know what the important parts of the story are any more. I can't even think with fondness about the birth of my children. I joked with the doctor just before my C-section, when he asked if I wanted my tubes tied, 'I'm done. If my H wants more children, he'll have to get a girlfriend'. Well, he got a girlfriend, and she's pregnant. Now thinking about that story fills me with a pain that sometimes outweighs even the joy of my son's birth. How do you explain that to someone, who hasn't lived this kind of tauma?

Hi Jesurvis, good article.
I'm years out myself and I still have times when I feel very disturbed about it all and...
Perhaps robbing someone of his or her story is the greatest betrayal of all.
...this is probably the reason!
How are you doing?
~~"You can't run away from yourself"!!! Me to my H when he descended into adultery insanity.
