I would like a new bed but I have no idea what to get.

Currently we have a full size bed and I end up with little people in bed every single night. We would like a king.

What bed do you recommend?

I second the memory foam. I bought mine online for about $600. It's a king. Love it.

I'd say look into something like a Comfortaire air mattress - Sleep Number is based on the Comfortaire design, and W & I like the Comfortaire - cheaper, better warranty, more comfortable in the low and middle ranges (never really looked at the high end).

After 6 years of use, it's going strong, with no discernible deterioration.

I just got a bed that has individually wrapped coils with a memory foam pillow top. It's the best of both worlds, I absolutely love it. Can't remember sleeping on a bed as comfortable. I have it on a box spring and platform bed which gives it more solid support.

I didn't like the 100% memory foam mattress as much. I prefer sinking into something firm.

Budget? Mattresses are $300-$7,000.

Depending on what you might be able to find on sale, either:

Sterns & Foster Twila

or

Shifman Quilted or Premium

You'd have to find the Premium on a really good sale to make your price point. The mattresses are fantastic though.

I have a king memory foam I bought online. I love it but I'm ready for a new bed. I want a tempur pedic that has the electric controls and vibrating massage.

Mine is still in perfect condition and not very old. I plan to give it away....

I strongly suggest taking some time and going to a retail store and lay on a whole bunch. I also strongly suggest you don't lay on anything outside your price range!!!

Really take some time to see what you like. Especially with two people in the bed. My dh needs different stuff than I do, but I can deal where he can't.

I have a TempurPedic that has gel in it, maybe at least on the top, to keep it cooler. It also has the vibrating massage. I love the mattress - the massage - meh.

I have heard that from someone else about the massage too. So maybe no massage, does yours have the multi position controls? If so is that worth the price?
