...what would it be?

I feel stuck with this username that describes my past, but not my present or future. If I could change my username it would be: BrighterFuture.

In case you don't know, Platinum members CAN change their username. ONCE.

ETA:

New Platinum Feature: Permanent Name Change

Platinum members now have the ability to permanently change your SI username once. This action will only affect your username. Your username will change everywhere including the archives and any other posting history. Your profile will display your old username along with your new one. (e.g., Username (previously oldUsername))

If you go to your profile you will now see a "Change" link next to your username. Once you change your name the link will disappear.

Very - there's a sticky topic at the top of the General forum regarding Premium Access. Lots of details there.

Here's the link to the upgrade page, should you decide to do so. https://www.survivinginfidelity.com/premium.asp

Nope. I like my name. A lot. Skan is a Lakota Sioux word meaning the motion of the universe. Skan enters the body with the spirit and sets new life in motion. Perhaps another way would be to say spiritual movement.

I'd change it to nowiknow22 and complain that 23 was just trying to ride my coattails...

I just changed mine! On D-Day I was definitely Sad and Mad. And D-Day was January 1, 2012. Thus was born SadMad2012.

But...I'm happy now, not sad! I've hated that people might think I'm still sad and mad! I have days where those emotions still kick in, but overall, I am MUCH happier being divorced and living my own life...one without lies or distrust. I've grown so much in the last two years. I love my life! I'm so glad I was finally able to upgrade to Platinum and change the name.

Taken from a Mumford & Son's song that got me through the worst times...

"Get over your hill and see
What you find there
With Grace in your heart and
Flowers in your hair"

Every hill I face in the future will be faced with grace in my heart, and flowers in my hair!

Can't afford premium access right now inorder to change my username. If only I could have foreseen the future when I registered I would have known my hurt & brokenness was a temporary situation. I'm in a better place now. My future is looking bright!

I deliberately chose a name that didn't reflect how I was feeling when I signed up, because I didn't want to feel stuck with that later. Jana Green is completely made up and I'm not sure where it came from, other than the fact that green is my favorite color. I wouldn't change it now.

Someone at SI made it possible. I now have a name I'm proud of. I don't know who you're, but I just wanted to say thank you so much. Thank you to the people of SI as well!

Ah BrighterFuture how neat is that.

What a kind gesture

I had been very unhappy for 3 years (due to exs daily emotional abuse and occasional physical abuse).

Discovering his A was a relief... It gave me the chance to walk away.

I remember feeling so strongly that it was Time for Change.

Maybe if I would change mine it would be.... TimesHaveReallyChanged.

But I love my name.... It reminds me that even on DDay I knew life was going to be Whole lot better without him.
Best epiphany I ever had. And my life now is so very happy -
Life changed completely and it is a wonderful wonderful life.

I chose my name at the time I joined based on my career, because I knew that would support me through whatever changes were going to happen.

I am no longer a Tushnurse, and would probably choose something along the lines of what makes me happy, and represents us becoming healed and whole again. So I guess I would be QnHnyBee.
As My H now treats me like the Queen I am, and the HoneyBees have really been part of my healing and strengthening process.

I like my name still. It works when I'm in pain and survive a day, and it works when I feel like I can conquer the world! Each day is a victory for me, especially the ones when I can genuinely feel like I wouldn't mind not existing any longer. Then I can celebrate that I reigned victorious over that day, feeling, low, or whatever comes my way.

Well, maybe I would use 'SheraPrincessOfPower'. I used to want to be that little tart with her mini skirt and magic wand and supreme strengt h.

I picked beyondbreaking because when I came here, that is how I was feeling- beyond my breaking point.

I'm not sure I am past feeling that way yet, so I like the name for now.

I have been cheated on by 3 different men, and I have more DDays than anyone ever should. I am here, just trying to pickup the pieces.
