Good for you that you could help the patient. I have to ask though what was your work doing to help you? Were there not protocols in place to prevent the work place injury you incurred?

Me: Awesome - 35.... ummm, not anymore

They nurses are supposed to be on the unit not sitting at the nurses station..which they were. the patients room was designed poorly. All the call lights were out of reach. i was taught.if a patient is going down and you have a.hold on them don't let go and try to lessen the possible injury. I screamed bloody murder. I had to work last night and told the nurse I'm in a lot of pain. It wouldn't be a good i dea to have me be a lone with him if he falls again i can't get him to the ground. Numerous times i was left alone. Monday I'm employee health and get this documented. I'm actually worse to day
