This is the first time EVER that I have installed my Christmas tree before December 1. I would be drummed out of my family if my Dad were still alive! We always went into the woods with an ax on Christmas Eve afternoon to cut down our tree!

I put mine up during the last week of November. Early schmerley - I'd have it up all year if I could!

Woody- The word I'm searching for, I can't say, because there are Pre-school toys here.

my Christmas wreath stayed on the door year round .

Didn't have a tree but expect that would have been up year round also if I had

my home was festive all year

love the Christmas eve tradition that you had with your Dad, that sounds awesome.

Mostly it was, though there were some Christmas Eves where we were pretty snowy when we finally dragged the tree into the living room! But there was always the crackling fireplace and hot chocolate to warm us up!

My tree was up the week before Thanksgiving... I was bored one weekend afternoon and that seemed like a good project. It also provides the cats with more time to eat some of the fake pine needles and then puke them up in little presents for me all over the house
