My 15 yo ds is "In a Relationship". It's facebook-official now.

Little girl at our church who is 13. She is precious. It's too funny. A couple of months ago, she was that pesty little thing that wouldn't leave him alone. Now she's his GIrrrrrrrrrrl friend.

The whole way home from church went like this:

DS: I'm so happy.
Me: Why?
DS: I don't want to talk about it.
Me: Okay
DS: But I'm really, really happy.
Me: Okay.
DS: You want to know why I'm so happy?
Me: You said you didn't want to talk about it.
DS: Well, if you guess right, I'll tell you.

And so on.

Me, 47
Him, 40 (JMSSC)
married 17 years. In R. We are making it. The past does not define who we are today.

Buckle up HFSSC. This is one heck of a ride. I can pretty much judge how nice the boyfriend has been that day by how crappy dd is acting. . And these two are relatively drama free as far as these things go. But sometimes I want to call the kid and say "Can you just be nice and do everything right today because I am tired of being grumped at. Thanks."
