Aww, he looks so cute and snuggly. I love how he's already hamming it up for the camera.

I fostered a dog over the summer that was pregnant. She was an abandoned teen mom close to the end of her pregnancy. Since her fur was overgrown we didn't know she was pregnant until a week before the puppies came.

She became a foster fail, meaning she's officially adopted and with me.

We found homes for all 4 of her puppies. People who take in "oops" puppies have a special place in my heart.

Thank you for sharing.

I can't have a dog, so I live vicariously through others.

Boost had his second ever vet appointment today. He got two shots, and his nails cut.

He is very clingy and tired, and in pain tonight. We can barely pick him up--he just cries. But he wants to be held.

My heart breaks every time he cries.

I know he'll be ok, and tomorrow he'll be in everything again, pushing his boundaries, and driving me crazy, but right now, he's just my little baby with a sore butt.

Well, what happend was my brother was getting out of the military. He was stationed at Fort Campbell. He was living with his then girlfriend and they had a Chiweenie, JoJo. The apartment they found here in our hometown didn't allow dogs. So, they asked my dad to take JoJo for them. Dad had Bailey, a Yorkie. Dad's instructions to brother were "Get your dog fixed". Brother didn't do it. Bailey was never fixed. He's a purebred Yorkie, and when he was younger he was used as a stud. Bailey is 13 human years old. Too old to fix, now.

So....JoJo comes in the home...and immediately goes into heat. But, not a "bloody" (sorry for the gross image) heat, so they didn't know. My dad and stepmom caught them in the act once. My dad said "So you know they've f#$*%d a thousand times."

He asked me if I wanted one of the inevitable Ooops pups, and I said YES!!!!

JoJo had a litter of 3 pups..Boost was the second born.

JoJo has an appointment to get fixed after the holidays.
