Unfortunately I scheduled a root canal and a colonoscopy at the same time as the concert.

Only if I liked his music.

I would. I understand his music is a bit eclectic, but I like it. I can see where it isn't for everyone.

I don't think I have even heard his music before. But free tix is free tix.

@ Rebreather... I guess he's not your cup of tea!

Rebreather, I'll see your colonoscopy and root canal, and raise you a mammogram and a pap smear.

I'm with you guys...I think the barn needs to be cleaned out that day.

That or consecutively. Either would be preferable for me.

I'm helping with that, plus slitting my wrists ... sorry

While my knee jerk reaction was that I had to be home chewing tin foil, after shaving my cat and slitting my wrists, here's the truth that came to me as I began typing. I've been talked (dragged/coerced/polited) into attending shows I was meh, to disgusted to be seeing, and FAR more than once- won over by the level of passion and energy from the performer or crowd. Conversely, I've waited excitedly with tickets purchased months in advance, only to find those shows a total letdown, or that I liked the opening act better than who I paid to see. I'm not saying I'd buy merchandise and clothing and become a total groupie convert, but, sure I'd go. Kitty and tinfoil could wait I guess.

Wow, don't tell anybody I just said that

OTOH, you may've missed the show that was...the audience.

@Rebreather and HFSSC:

Maybe TMI, but are you guys looking at my calendar? I had ALL of those done this month, except for shaving the cat. And I just realized how horrible it is to say "shaving the cat".

But I'm with you guys, and ultimately jrc....I had a fine old time at my medical/endodontal appointments, thank you very much!

Grace and Flowers...

Bahahahahaha!!!!!

Just realized how "shaving the cat" sounds on top of the mammogram and pap smear comment. They kind of just go together, don't they???
