I know you said you got your answer, but I would caution you NOT to sell your ipad on ebay. EVER. Cell phones, ipads, hot gaming consoles, etc. are the MOST scammed items on ebay. I also sell on ebay, and read in several of the community forums there daily. The advice from long-time sellers is: "Don't sell anything on ebay that you can't afford to lose the money AND the item". There have been reports of MANY buyers getting high demand tech devices, then filing a claim with ebay saying it's "significantly not as described". Ebay tells them to return to the seller (you CANNOT have a no returns policy on ebay anymore due to buyer protection) and to make sure the package has tracking. Once the package shows as delivered, ebay uses YOUR funds in pay pal to refund the buyer and many sellers receive a brick, torn up sneakers, dirty clothes, etc. in the return package. Seller has a fit and escalates the claim for fraud, and ebay sides with the BUYER. Kiss your $$ and ipad good-bye. Oh, and ebay will also freeze your pay pal funds the MINUTE the claim is filed.
All around, this is NOT the venue it once was. It is ruled by scammers, big box sellers, and sellers from China. Sellers are held to extremely high standards and many have been "indefinitely suspended" for 1 or 2 dings to their DSR's, or God forbid that a buyer claim your item is FAKE.
Doesn't matter if you have PROOF with a receipt that you purchased the ipad at the Apple store - if one buyer claims fake, you are immediately suspended.
If you go to ebay and browse the "community" forums, read through Seller Central and Seller Protection. You will learn a lot and you may potentially save yourself a lot of $$ and headaches by deciding to sell your ipad locally for CASH.
