JM is in surgery right now. This is the 4th time his right hip has been operated on, 3rd different surgeon. He had arthroscopy and repair of a Labral tear in 2005. Then an open debridement of hip impingement, followed by a nasty postoperative infection that required more surgery in 2007. He's having it scoped again and hopefully will get some pain relief. Next step is replacement, which the ortho reall doesn't want to do at his age. He's not even 40 yet, for crying out loud.

We'd appreciate prayers for successful surgery and a quick recovery.

Oh, and tomorrow is our 17th anniversary, 2nd of our "new" M.

Edited because my autocorrect is demon possessed.

Mojo, positive thoughts, and prayers your way.

I know a guy who had both hips done before 40, Dr says he will have to have em done again, but the good news is at that age recovery was much easier, since the surrounding muscle mass is so much stronger.

Anyway.....May whatever higher power there is guide the surgeons hand, and the nurses to provide comfort, and strength during this time.

Thanks, y'all. We're home now. He's tucked in bed with his belly full and a butt load of pain medicine.

We'll know in a couple of weeks if this was successful. The doc seemed to feel pretty good about it. We'll just have to see.

Thanks again for the good thoughts!

Prayers for a swift, uneventful recovery, and a successful outcome!

Thanks, y'all. He is doing great. We went to church yesterday and had a really good day.

Now just waiting to see how much relief he gets.
