My car battery died and need a replacement. Since my ex is paying less child support than he's supposed to, I decided to send him a text asking for more money to buy a new battery. The kids need to be taken for their doctor's appointment and I do not have any money right now until January 2014. I can't even buy toys for them for Christmas this year. Now, during the discovery phase of the affair, I discovered my ex was having a PA and EM affairs with women at his workplace. In fact one woman told me that she stopped talking to him when she found out that he had someone at home, but that she was not the only one. My ex had been trying to talk to any woman he could find at his workplace. So back to the current issue, when I asked for money for my battery, his response was, "My job is ending...I'm moving out of town to find another job." Though I wanted to not say anything, I found myself smiling when I replied back by asking, "Why is your job ending? You screwed every female there?"
This month should have been his 1st year anniversary at that job which I gave him a recommendation when he was interviewing.

I think you have a great attitude about this with all your problems right now and you can smile. I need to follow your lead and smile too over everything I hear about my ex and look to that better future. Your post inspired me this morning and reminded me that it really does not end up a bed of roses for these types of way wards. Thanks for that smile.

Thank you. I'm glad I was able to inspire you. My kids are young so they don't understand the concept of Christmas yet. I sometimes find humor in wierd places. My problems are only temporary. I'm on my way to a brighter future.

Right after D-day, my money situation was so bad that I gave my daughter used toys for Christmas. She didn't notice.

Marriages that start this way, stepping over the bodies of loved ones as the giddy couple walks down the aisle, are not likely to last.
