I have an odd mix going. The last 3 songs were.

Breakeven - The Script
Algo Me Gusta De Ti - Wisin Y Yandel
Hit the Road Jack - Ray Charles

I'm not listening to anything at the present moment, but last night I was hanging out in my basement wrapping presents. My old stereo and all of my old LP's and cassettes are down there, so I threw on my "Somewhere in Time" cassette by Iron Maiden. Sounds just like it did 20+ years ago!

I have a few more to wrap tonight, and I'm thinking about putting on one of my Beatles LP's. I'm thinking either Abbey Road or the White Album.

Listening to Pandora, so a bit of an eclectic mix -
Macy Gray
Coldplay
Five for Fighting
BNL
Norah Jones

and whatever else pops into the playlist.

I'm listening to my upstairs neighbor vacuuming and my other neighbors dog barking. I think it's time to put in some music.

smy - Magical Mystery Tour was one of my favorites growing up! I have the LP with the fold out color booklet. Good stuff!

I'll just have to see what I am in the mood for tonight. 5000 is impressive! I only have a couple of hundred, myself.

You do that Jo, but pass the cookies over here first.

Last year's pics but we made the same cookies last weekend. So, for you, MOO, just a few of the varieties we baked.

And I'm not listening to anything at the moment because I'm in my office, but we listened to our favourite Christmas albums all weekend while we made these treats.

DMB, Weezer, and OAR, all on Pandora....And a kid building a skyscraper with wooden blocks and knocking it down, and a screaming infant in the lab who is pissed off that she got stuck.

Right this minute I'm listening to my 12 year old son curse because putting together a Science Fair Board is not his idea of fun... and apparently he keeps messing up.

PS: I'm staying out of his room right now.

Looks like this evening I will be listening to my son play a continuous stream of Metallica riffs on his guitar.

Pretty cool to see what the soundtracks of people's lives are.

I have my itunes on shuffle. The last songs I've heard were:

When I'm Up (I can't get down) -Great Big Sea -> they are amazing live!!

You can leave your hat on -Joe Cocker

Mess Around -Ray Charles

Fake it -Seether

Come see about me -Tedeschi Trucks Band -> I've seen Susan Tedeschi live (twice!). She now has a band with her husband. I love their music just as much as I loved hers.

I am also listening to my cat run around (the way cats like to do when people are sleeping), and YDS just started crying, so away I go.

Zac Brown Band. I have a bunch of their songs on Rhapsody and I'm listening on shuffle.

I took my F to see them on Friday, for his birthday. And they were AWESOME. It was a great show. Easily makes my top 3 of all time.

1) Jimmy Buffet
2) Meatloaf (weird, I know--but damn does he put on a hell of a show!)
3) ZBB

I highly recommend seeing them if they come to a city near you. We had such a good time!!!
