What do you put in the Christmas stockings for your
family/loved ones? I have a few things, but am becoming repetitive from years past.

So far I have jerky and chocolate. Need something else,.... they are some big stockings to fill.

Ever since I was a kid, stockings have ALWAYS included an orange in the toe.

Other suggestions:

New winter gloves
Earbuds
iTunes gift cards
gas cards (for DS)
decks of cards
Lifesavers story books (another hold over from my childhood)
gum
scratch off lottery tickets
pocket games (like Farkel)

Dang Gabby, do they get other presents too?

I do the same stuff year after year too.
Each family member gets an ornament specific to them and their hobby, that goes in the stocking.

Lip stuff for all, gloss for DD and me, and the boys get carmex stuff

Chocolate, the dark chocolate orange for me toberlones for the rest of the gang.

Pez for the kids, some fun dispenser, this year Cardinals stuff.

Ear buds for all.

some fun cheap dollar store toys for the kids like yo yo's or bubbles.

My dad always put those little metal puzzle thingies.. the ones you have to detach from each other? Loved those.

Every stocking gets; two magazines to help the stocking keep it's shape, scratch tickets, and candy. Then I just walk through the store and select little items that I think people would use or enjoy. Foodstuffs, toiletries, household gadgets, etc... You'd be surprised how many expensive little items are out there. If I'm not careful I will spend more on the stocking than the main gift

I read this as "things going in the stocking ... Husband...

BIG STOCKING...

And from the rest of the list he's being transported somewhere remote and LEFT?

I always put new toothbrushes in the stocking and the easter basket. That gets the twice a year new tooth brush done.

LOL! They dont get all of it at once. Rather, this was a list of of the things that I've put in their stockings over the last few years.

OMG NIK so did ours, plus nuts.

Growing up we always had:
Orange
nuts
candy cane
and some small trinket

For my girls they got the usual:
candy
orange ( that always went back into the fruit bowl )

Then we would add little things that were age appropriate:
stickers
pencils
hair items

As they got older we just put in money and candy. We don't even bother with the orange anymore.

Waiting - when we were kids, we also got perfume/cologne from Avon in our stockings every year. The bottles were so cool.

We put in pomegranates instead of the huge bland apples a couple years back and both of my boys (7 and 5) loved them, to the point of specifically asking Santa for them in the following years.

Both of my kids ALWAYS receive:
Christmas hat
singing/dancing Christmas toy
decoration for the tree
bubble blowing solution
pez

then I add any other fun stuff I can find including chocolate

my kids are now 19 and 23 and I've heard them telling friends what their stockings hold and how much they look forward to them.
