Oh my goodness. I'm just in shock and heartbroken.

My niece and her H have been married about ten years. We were all kinda doubtful about him when we first met him. He has multiple piercings, tats... My dad referred to him as the Human Tacklebox for a while. Did we ever learn about judging by appearances. This guy is an absolute dream. Treats my niece like a queen. Is a wonderful father to their kids.

A few months ago, his mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that had spread to her liver. She passed away yesterday. Tough enough, to lose your mom right before Christmas. Today, his dad collapsed and died in the ambulance on the way to a hospital.

Just so sad. It's just Mike and his sister to deal with this. He is 30... I think his sister is a year or two older. They each have 2 young kids.

So if you think about it, lift a prayer or a kind thought up for my niece Valerie, her husband Mike, his sister, Sundari, and their kids.

Thank you.

Oh, I'm so so sorry, so much loss and grief! It's so heartbreaking, especially so close to Christmas...

Sending prayers. I can't imagine having to deal with that kind of heartbreak EVER, much less at such a young age AND at Christmas. It's almost beyond comprehension.

Hugs to them all.

Thanks, y'all. Valerie just posted that they will be burying them together on Thursday.

His dad had a massive heart attack. His mom was 59, and his dad a couple of years older.

Hug those you love extra tight.

My condolences, especially because this was way too early for them.

That''s just horrible. I''ll be holding the entire family in my prayers.

Prayers to the family. I can't imagine the pain right now for him. It's always heartbreaking to lose a love one but at this time of year makes it even worse.

Again, prayers to them.
