That's all I can do for my teo kids. But I sit and wonder if he'd rather be texting her. Rather be texting her. Sneaking around. And he's stuck w me bc of kids.

The last two years Xmas was fake. He was texting screwing her

This is not my life. I'm living in a pretend world

He is lucky to be with you.

Lucky you didn't toss him out on his ass.

Take the day moment by moment. Watch the kid's faces. Inhale their energy and excitement.

Do what you can. Leave the dishes, the mess can wait, better yet tell him he is in charge of cleaning up today. Sit and take in every minute of your kid's happiness, it will get you through.

Just one day, you can do it.

(((hugs)))

As the daughter of parents who wore "game faces" for years---and as the mother of children who are extraordinarily ...vocal...about what they observed: putting on a "game face" for kids not only doesn't work, but causes more harm than good.

Think about what you want from this life. Think about what you can HAVE. (In other words, if a happy marriage with the man to whom your married is not in the cards, be honest with yourself about that.) And then pursue it.

It will set a far better example for your children than wearing a mask and telling lies about who you are in your intimate relationship.

Be true to YOURSELF. The rest will follow.

Do the very best you can and that will be enough. I still remember the Christmas my mom cried the entire day because my dad left ( to be with another woman). While I understand it more now it still makes me very sad to remember how awful that Christmas was.

"But I sit and wonder" ... man that is a killer! But it can be a gift if put in right framework!

"he's stuck w me bc of kids" is a tuff thought too....

I think I've been there too many times! Wish you the best in redirecting your thoughts -- it is ever so hard to do, yet seems a must do.
