My SO spoiled me rotten for Christmas! He bought me a new "tablet"....I have never had one, or even played with one so now I am in a serious learning curve figuring it out...not as easy as I thought it would be....
He also bought me a cooling fan/speaker tray for my lap top, and a stand to put the tablet on if I want to work on it upright....my daughter and her husband bought me a lovely, leather case for it, along with a stylus....
It is something I have wanted for a while, but would not spend the money on myself...he really listens to me, even when I think he's not really paying too much attention....all of the things he gave me were things I have mentioned in passing at some point and he "filed" it away......
Anyone have any good tips to learning how to use this tablet quickly? I am fairly good with the computer/laptop...but this is a whole different animal to me........

What kind is it? I have an IPad and lovelovelove it.

But I'm used to the MacBook track pad and what your fingers do on the screen is the same...

I don't know anything about that brand, but if you just start poking around you should be able to figure stuff out.

I use mine every day for reading PDFs for school, watching Netflix, FB, email, music. It's a beautiful thing.

I have been able to program in some radio stations so I can stream music, and have found how to find the browser to get on line (managed to hook up with my wireless internet)....
It is fun sorting it out...I have friends that use them all the time, so I should be able to sit with one of them and learn some of the basic stuff....
