alternate title: I'm a doofus

alternate alternate title: MH goes to all the trouble to put the little specific sex thing/symbols signs on profiles, and unfound still mixes up peoples genders.

Just realized that a member of over 4 years here is a boy . And it's not just him, it's loads of people. Sometimes I look closer and think "shit, when did that happen?" .

I guess I just see everyone as gender neutral unless their name is obviously male or female.

My apologies to anyone whom I have thought was a boy, or a girl (or Canadian) and you're not... . you know what I mean.

sigh.

We opened a card from the card exchange, it was signed:
username
and underneath:
a very manly name, so obviously NOT a woman

and I shouted username is a dude??? But.... I... really...? a dude....

My apologies to anyone whom I have thought was a boy, or a girl (or Canadian) and you're not...

I had to open this thread because Unfound started it so I knew it would be good.

Adding the gender symbols helped me a lot. In the beginning when I first came into F&G's, pre-symbols.....I thought Moo was a woman..... BECAUSE (in my defense) someone posted a photo of a cow not a bull.

Sorry Moo.

Bingo. My brother used it as my email addy when he first made our emails when I was 15 or 16. We had just seen that episode and thought it was hilarious.
