This may seem counter-intuitive, but along with providing insight, support, and an endless list of services during so many peoples' times of need due to infidelity, this forum has shown me something else.

I want to thank you all for illustrating that real passionate love and commitment continue to exist. They aren't reserved for newlyweds. I know it is unfortunate that it takes hurt and tragedy to bring it out, but my heart is so full when I see so many people, a wide range of ages and life experiences, so willing to openly LOVE their partner, even a flawed partner, a partner who f*cked up big time. People here, men and women, speaking so fondly of their marriage and partner. I think years pass, time goes on, and we think the love in a relationship fades in the background behind routine, children, money, "old news"...

But sincerely, in the face of so many challenges, every day this forum shows me love and commitment in a way that makes me believe in the longevity and fire inside of love and marriages. And for also living a love for yourself when the partnership isn't working.

Thank you, all of you, whether new, reconciling, divorcing, for illustrating shades of love. I think this forum could be a book not just on infidelity, but on love for ones-self, and ones spouse, in today's adult world.
