It's been 15 years.

Fifteen LONG years, baby.

After Elway’s retirement, we’ve suffered through Brian Griese, Jake Plummer, Jay Quitler, Kyle Orton and the whole Tebow/McDaniels fiasco.

Now (thanking the heavenlies!) we FINALLY have a QB and a Head Coach that know what they're doing.

Number one offense vs. the number one defense.

Gonna be a scrappin' GREAT game!

I plan to have zero voice on Monday, what with shouting "Omaha!" all evening.

Winning #48 sounds awful good to me!

Isn't it interesting that the only two states that have legalized pot are getting together for a "Super Bowl" ...

Yes, TR.

That and how Peyton Manning is now a franchisee of Papa John's in CO.

The man is a genius!

"I know a lot of people ask what Omaha means..." Manning said. "Omaha is a run play, but it could be a pass play or a play-action pass, depending on a couple things: which way we're going, the quarter, and the jerseys that we're wearing. It varies, really, from play to play. So, there's your answer to that one."

My heart breaks for JJ Watt - my favorite Texan.

He's a hell of a player stuck on a stinky team right now.

Yeah they looked like they might be contenders before the preseason started.

Do you know he works every day that they usually have to ask him to leave so everyone can go home

Yeah they looked like they might be contenders before the preseason started.

I just literally laughed out loud!!!

ajsmom - Thank you for the link. I think I made it three paragraphs before my eyes glazed over.

NIK's take on the Super Bowl?

Mustangs can TOTALLY kill birds. Birds can annoy the hell out of horses, but aren't likely to kill them. Especially sea birds.

Actually, the Giants are planning to mug the Seahawks in the locker room and take the field against the Broncos.

But shhhh ... don't tell anyone.

I don't understand the big deal about the Sea Hawks. How many years in a row did they finish dead last?

Look what happened when they played the Niners. Navorro Bowman gets hurt and the Sea Hawks fans throw food at him. WTH is up with that?

I don't understand the big deal about the Sea Hawks. How many years in a row did they finish dead last?

HUGE and more importantly, smart roster changes (thank Pete Carroll for that), including a QB that scrambles and a deadly defense got them there.

Look at it this way: 32 teams vie for the opportunity to play - best teams get into the playoffs. They're one of the two best teams.

So yeah, it is a big deal.

A well deserved honor, indeed!

Haven't watched a game all season, and I'm spending Sunday afternoon ice skating. But, I can't wait for the game (and the after-hype) to be over so my friends' fb posts will return to their usual, non-football blather.

I hope Peyton gets his second ring!! He is so much fun to watch....he has even turned me into a Denver fan, now that Elway is gone. I am one of those old enough to remember the Elway years, arch-enemy of the Browns back in the 1980s. I'm starting to give up on the Browns ever getting to the big game. Go Broncos!!

I read an article that says when the NFC team wins the SB, the stock market typically goes up. Since I don't really follow either team, I'm going to root for the Seahawks so my investment portfolio goes up.

This is what most people know about Omaha. There is so much more! Really a great city. I lived there for 30+ years.

How many ways can I say I LOVE PAYTON!!!!? He is so awesome! And I am so excited about the game.

Payton, Thunder & Anne (in that order)

I watched back in the day too. Although I was cheering on my buddy Joe Montana (how cool is it that's he's in the back seat of the car??) I was never much of an Elrod ...ahem ...Elway fan.

Go Hawks!!!

I have been a Seahawk fan my entire life and I'm 3 years older than the organization. We've had years of disappointment so these last few years have been spectacular!

I remember being in the AFC division with the Broncos in the 80's. Love me some Steve Largent, Curt Warner, Kenny Easley.
