I could feel myself sinking into a pretty bad mood these last few days, dreading Valentine's Day, getting sad and mad all over again and feeling incredibly lonely. I take my boys to school tomorrow morning, and POS is picking them up and keeping them until Saturday, so I've been sad I won't even have them on Valentine's Day. I was texting with my friend today, and I asked what he's doing tomorrow. I told him I was planning to gather some weapons and destroy as many Valentine's Day displays as I could find.
I haven't been feeling too great either, so my mom offered to take the boys out to get some extra supplies for the V-Day cards they are making for their classmates. And what do they come home with? DS10 walks in with white roses with a styrofoam pink heart in the middle and hands it to me with a kiss. And the cutest card. And then DS6 walks in with a heart balloon that says Happy Valentine's Day on it (DS6 loves balloons). My cold, dead, shell of a heart just melted with love. I will have to make some new plans for tomorrow. I don't feel like destroying anything anymore
