Ice dams. Yay, my latest homeowner's nightmare. Consequently, a leak in my not-even-one-year-old roof.

Do you have some reasons to move further south? I figure you have to go further than Atlanta given the Snowmageddon earlier in the year...

Pics like those are why I chose to remain in California instead of returning to NY after leaving the Air Force....

I'm really starting to wonder why I still live in the great frozen north. This winter has been brutal! Hey, no hurricanes at least.

It's not so bad living here. Think of what you save on AC.. Plus the fishing is good, no traffic and you don't have to breath brown air here...

Yeah, yeah, tell that to the insurance adjuster, lost! It's getting harder and harder to remember the good reasons this winter! I need to go tramp around in the woods and stare at the lake and such, restore my sanity!

Do it!! We did that on the weekend. Much needed.

Sorry about your roof, Kernel.

Where are those cave photos from? I'd like to go there.

Okay, I'll admit this winter is the worst in a long time. I usually am not around for most of it but this year I ended up stuck here so it's a little harder to take. I just keep reminding myself why I do live here...

If you don't set your indoor temp to FRIGID in the summer it's really not much more than what you all up north pay for HEAT every year... Plus we can turn off the A/C around October and not turn it back on again until around March or April... usually. Really saves on the cost!

And we have great fishing and no brown air!!!

That's my Shout Out for Central Florida.

Thanks TR. That's so cool.

Stop your bitching Wisconsinites and Minnesotans, you have a beautiful ice cave. What more do you what?

Kernel and SMS I'm looking at you.

It's snowing again--on top of the 4-foot pile on my balcony--but I still love it.

Not looking forward to rain this weekend, though. Gonna be a mess!

Well Dixie, the ice cave is supposed to leak and freeze and be all beautiful! Not my roof! It really is a gorgeous place to live, for about 10 months of the year. The other two months of our long winter, I could do without!

and thanks, TR for supplying the url. Had to go to work so didn't see the question until now.
