I have a platonic male friend. We've been friends for 20+ years, and he lifted me up during the D. We spent yesterday together, going to lunch and on a drive.

Last night, I dreamt that I was sleeping in my bed. He climbed in bed and held me. He said that he can't continue with our current arrangement. He wants more, or he'll have to walk away from me.

I woke up this morning in a funk because of this dream. I have never felt anything more than friendship with this man. We have shared a room (separate beds), we have talked about everything. There are no secrets with him. I really don't get the feeling that he wants more from me.

But is this dream telling me that I want more from him? No idea.

It would seem so, but it could be the you just want more, not necessarily from him.

At least you don't dream about termites; that was my dream the other night. According to my dream dictionary, it means that my soul is in danger

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

I second this ^^^. Your subconscious mind is probably nagging about wanting more.

I think that you may not really want more, it's just he is trustworthy and you have a solid relationship with him.

I've had some funky dreams like that where my platonic female friends do odd things...

I try not to interpret why my mind drifts there while sleeping...

I've been mulling this over since yesterday morning.

I truly don't think that I want more from this friend. I haven't seen him as much as usual lately, and I may just be mourning that loss.

He was unemployed by choice for the past several years, and recently started working again.

I'm going to chalk it up to that.
