I feel very conflicted. It breaks my heart to read the posts on the other boards. In some of them, I see the same pain I see in my BH. Truth is, some of those stories have really helped me and yet I feel guilty for that. No one should have to have those stories. No one. I am grateful for this site however.

Sometimes the post in the wayward forum really helps me. It's good that you are aware of the pain. I think that it would be bad if you didn't feel bad about the pain.

I know what you mean - the stories on here make my heart hurt and usually make me cry. The pain and betrayal are palpable. Awful that there are thousands of people that need this site but I'm ever grateful we all found our way here.

I agree. I go there and read stuff and feel horrible that it's the same thing I am putting my husband through. It does help me in a way to understand better since husband is not expressing himself that great.

It's scary to think you know someone well and then realize you don't~~Even scarier when you realize that person is you!

I also agree to see there side. To try and understand as much as possible. I dont think its recommended but I guess in some weird way I am hoping to see if WW ever posts here too. I did advise her to visit to see the impact that the A has on people to make her understand the torture we are put through as a result.

It does help me to read, because my WS never found out, and it reminds me of the pain I would inflict if he did. It keeps me on the straight and narrow!

I love this forum, and after taking time off I am back. I really need it.
