About four years ago, we accidentally started a new tradition. We like to eat the Thanksgiving meal a few times throughout the year. We always seem to decide we want the Thanksgiving meal around noon, so it takes until midnight to prepare. We've accidentally been doing this in February for the past four years. The first time, SIers dubbed it February Midnight Thanksgiving and it stuck!

Now that I'm no longer busy cooking or eating, I can share the menu:

Turkey
Stuffin' Muffins
Mac 'n Cheese
Broccoli Casserole
Corn Pudding
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Soft Rolls
Pumpkin Pie

LOL!! I remember that thread. And what is even funnier was I was just thinking I want to thaw the turkey I have in the chest freezer and have February Thanksgiving this weekend.

AWESOME!!! You should definitely do it!

We do it in Feb., June, Sept., and Nov. That way we enjoy it every time- even on ACTUAL Thanksgiving.

We had Thanksgiving dinner three weeks ago. Had 14 people in attendance. It was one of the best to date!

That's wonderful, thebighurt!!! I always enjoy my 'off season' Thanksgivings more. I think it's because I have no dread of the upcoming hustle and bustle.

Yup, TIKY, it's just a day for a feast and good company.

We kept it simple and basic. I did the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and one pie and others did the pumpkin pie, corn bread, veg, some fruit and appetizers. It was a cooperative meal and tasted great.
