DD16 is interviewing for a prestigious scholarship tomorrow. Thousands apply and she is one of several hundred finalists from 4 states. Many students will be selected.

If chosen, this scholarship will allow her to attend 4 years of college at any US college for very little money.

I took her shopping last weekend for business attire.
She looks smashing in her adult clothes.

I am a nervous wreck, which she doesn't know about. I think she doesn't fully comprehend the significance of this.

Regardless of what happens in my mind she has already shown she has won as she made it this far. Yeah for her!

Best wishes for success for your DD. Of course she doesn't realize the significance of this, she's 16. She won't understand it until her DD is applying for it. This is a fantastic opportunity for her and I hope he is able to nail it. 4 yrs of the college of your choice is a great accomplishment.

I wish her luck! And even if she doesn't get it, the experience of this interview is priceless!

Fingers crossed!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH MOJO going out to you and your daughter.

As the parent of a college student I KNOW just how important this is.

The great news is that if she is a finalist for such a prestigious scholarship she's bound to get others as well.

But that's just a lot of water

I hope it went well! What an honor to be interviewed even!

She said as she walked into the interview her hands were shaking she was so nervous. After the intros, they asked a funny question about something that she wrote in one of her 5 required essays, and she said that made her smile and relax.

She felt it went well, and none of the questions were difficult for her to answer, and she will know in a few weeks if she will be selected for the scholarship. I am so proud of her!!

Thank you for all the great mojo.
