I just feel so sad today. I was food shopping with my daughter and just started tearing up. Got into the car and just started sobbing. It has been 3 months tomorrow and things are getting better. I haven't cried like this in a few weeks and I dont know what it was but I just couldn't control it today. We have been improving our relationship and working on us with counseling and I see the effort he is putting in and that he is truly remorseful.

I dont know why but today is just a really bad day

No matter how well things go in R, there are just days that simply suck. Be gentle with yourself on those days, and try to find some time for yourself.

Yep. Me too. Sorry for your pain. May there be more joy and less hurt tomorrow.

It's sadly not linear--improvement doesn't erase the deep sorrow and the struggle.

I'm sorry. But let the feelings come and eventually you'll come out on the other side. As lost in toronto says, be kind to yourself.

You are going to be okay.

Struggling right there with you today. You are not alone. Remember, you won't always feel like you do right now.

Thank you all. I have been having more good days than bad lately but these kind of horrible days really knock me down.
