Is it normal for me (WS) to feel a violent rage towards myself because of cheating? I just had a breakdown in front if my 5 y/o son. I cant stop crying and I feel an intense rage inside. Help?

Yes I think so but you can't let that rage overtake you. Especially in front of your child. Get yourself together....are you alone with your child? If so, is there someone to watch him for a bit? You need to feel these feelings but safely away from him. Go somewhere in your vehicle and scream, beat the steering wheel, turn the radio up LOUD and let it out. Then pull it together and regroup with yourself. This isn't the only thing that makes you YOU, just something you know you can grow into a better person from.

It's ok to lose it, as long as you can find it again. You can do this!

I think it's pretty normal. I've felt instances of that towards myself, and I have episodes of crippling sorrow where I can't do anything but sit there and sob, and I wish I could go back in time and 1) murder the disgusting piece of crap that is my xAP, and 2) beat the shit out of my younger self.
