Maybe an odd thing to be excited about, but Iíve had some terrible dental consults over the years that indicated it would be potentially ruinous to even try. Iím too old, itís too expensive, impacted tooth in sinus cavity must be left alone or I will lose three front teeth. Iíve left several dentist offices in tears over the past 10 years.

Well, after 2 years with my current primary dentist, he finally convinced me to try again. I met with a fantastic and experienced orthodontist yesterday. I still need 3d imaging and a consult with an oral surgeon but he has had cases like mine before and didnít flinch. He even deferred to my primaryís preferred oral surgeon which indicates loyalty and confidence in primaryís judgment over money. I love good business practice, it's very reassuring.

Still need imaging (Monday) and then the oral consult before I will know for sure. Any extra mojo would be greatly appreciated.

Mojo and good luck! I too would be excited if I could get braces. My teeth don't look bad but my overbite is a huge contributor to my sleep apena.

I assure you, a 12 year old sparkysable had a much different reaction than a squee to this news

Marriages that start this way, stepping over the bodies of loved ones as the giddy couple walks down the aisle, are not likely to last.

Thanks! Coincidentally my orthodontist is doing studies on sleep apnea. Maybe someday insurance companies won't consider braces an elective/vanity procedure.

Well Gwen Stefani is indeed hot, but I don't know if they'll give me quite that boost
