I know this mostly true, but isn't it also true that change equals pain?
Thoughts?

Change may be painful initially, but the long term benefits far outweigh the bad.

To not make these changes for your own good leave you in a position of constantly cycling through the same pain.

IMO it is better to walk through the pain, heal, and find a better place on the other side.

I don't know. It's painful when someone you love dies yet do you have to change? Just feeling it and allowing yourself to grieve maybe?

The conditions we face do not define us. They remind us of who we are and who we want to be.

Change can be a great thing. I did not have any peers regarding my WH, until I found this group. Just searching for a group of this nature was going out on a limb. I have only been here a short time, but wow! I wish I had found this group so much earlier. I was so scared to open up, but changing and challenging my fear is a good thing for me.

I think this is why we have the term 'growing pains'. Transitions of all types can be hard but if we are brave and face them the growth will be to our benefit.
