I am about 3 weeks into going back/forth taking turns with my spouse, living in the house with the kids. It is not easy, but I could no longer live in the same house as my WH. I am curious to know how long others have done this and my kids keep asking how long will this last...any suggestions or advise to make this easier?

I've seen this discussed on SI once but can't remember where.

Have you started divorce proceedings? If yes, you should have a good idea of your financial situation. Your lawyer should have been able to give you a ball park figure in what to expect in the way of spousal and child support.
Depending on how long it takes to get a divorce in your state, I would be looking for a new home if you don't think you will be keeping the house. Making plans helps in the "moving forward" process.
