Some progress has happened. Settled on March 6 still waiting on a final signature from the judge! I check daily. This has dragged out for 22 months.

Met today with "opposing" and a mediator to divide the household property. It went well and it's all decided what belongs to whom. I will now be able to remove my things for the house!!! Other than when we were in court I haven't been in the same room with him in almost a year. NC is invaluable for healing! I was really pleased today as I drove to the meeting that I had no fear! He is just a pathetic liar who has no moral character. I was thinking of the posse of SI that has had my back through this process and felt strong.

The paper work is signed for the house to be listed. The contents need to be removed and it needs a good cleaning. Dirt and grime accumulates, lots of dirt, when the housekeeper, I mean wife moves out. The market is good here in this area and it primed to move houses. I'm really hoping that is the case. I need the money to pay off my L fees.

I'm making plans to move across the country to be nearer my daughters!!!! I leave on June 12 the day after school is done. I have the summer to find a job and when the house sells I will have a some money to get myself started. I'm checking out what I need to do to go to school to make myself more marketable. I am so ready to have this all done and behind me.

The community of SI has been so helpful. I know I'm where I am today because of what I learned here. I want to join the April 2014 class of D.

Awesome update. You'll be relieved when it's finally done.

Thank you. Turns out I'm still waiting for the judge to sign because "opposing's" counsel hasn't produced the final copy!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised as everything has really moved along at a snail's pace. My L has asked about it. Hopefully, soon.

I've never been a very patient person and I like to manage things in a timely fashion. As I never had a choice in all of this and have no control I've really learned I can only control myself and how I react to the actions of someone else.

So I continue to wait! I know that it will be done soon enough. Apparently the judge has 90 days from march 6th to make a decision.
