Every emotional day, had a talk about things, then I told her I was scared, scared of losing her, broke down as she saw my tears, at that moment it showed her I was sorry and I to was hurting for what I did. One step forward to many more steps to healing.

Keep on keeping on. At times this will feel like the million tear march. It takes a long time but healing from infidelity is doable with much work and introspection and empathy and patience.
