I spent two hours with attorneys, STBX and moderator at collaborative process, this morning. STBX is such a miserable lying POS, that I can barely contain my anger at him, and we had to take a time out. He still doesn't get it, that he is not in control, and his diversions will only cost him more money. He accuses me of escalating budget expenses, while he buys gifts for OW with our money. House needs work, but he wants to buy dock space for the summer. He thinks that what he wants, goes, and that there is no need for discussion. There would be no need for discussion if he could just get it through his big fat head that everything is negotiable, and it is no longer a monarchy. The peasants have revolted!!

This is what happens when he keeps poking at you...

When you can't take it any longer, you attack!

When you win, you show this on the outside:

On the inside, you are like:

Then once it is all said and done and the excitement calms down, you can get some of this:

And then go back to some of this once you have rested up!

I really hope this is how it plays out for you!

Thanks Deena and Depressed Daddy for your responses. I will count you in for the peasant revolt, deena. Daddy, you made me chuckle, and I needed that, some Advil, and some wine. I feel all better, now. It sucks to opposite the table from me. I'll get him. Hiya!!!

He should have to pay you half of anything he has spent on the OW.

One of the things I would do to help with the anger is to break something. I used to go out to my garage and break a glass or something in the trash can. It helps!

Thanks peridot, when I finish this bottle of wine, I'll go out and break it in his vintage car. Oops!

The way I understand the collaborative process is that his attorney should be spanking him for pulling this shit.

Leave him to have his last little flourish. You keep your cool head. Thank fuck you are divorcing this guy. Take comfort that he is making a fool of himself and at least you have company in the audience with you.

The sad clown was so ridiculous in our single mediation session that I saw the mediator stifle a chuckle just before she spanked him. My lawyer had heard me talk about what a scumbag he was and after he met him he said "wow - he's actually worse than you describe. I hate clients like that".

The King is dead - long live the Queen!!

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!

Hey count me in on the wine too.

I will have a drink in a few hours raise your glass up and it will space clink with mine!!

Actually I am getting worried I am liking wine a wee bit too much. Helps to sleep good at nights

But this is for you. It is a good excuse!! A necessary one!!

All this talk of Kings and revolting has me thinking of those famous lines...

Count de Monet: It is said that the people are revolting.
King Louis XVI: You said it! They stink on ice!

So now I have a new mental image for your STBX

Edited to correct stupid typos.

Two steps forward and one step backwards, is still progress.

One of the times my XH pissed me off, I took the spray paint to his boat. I guess the paint fumes must have gotten to me because then I took the hammer to it.

I love it, but I might have to take the boat in the exchange of cotton for slaves, so I might have to keep it nice, but that vintage car is a great target for dead rodents, especially under the seats and the spare tire. Peasants, throw off the shackles of your oppressors!
