Feel free to move this if it's in the wrong forum.. it didn't seem appropriate in JFO and I'm not sure if it belonged in ICR..

I saw X-Men: Days of Future Past over the weekend...
(not a spoiler as the scene is also in the trailer)
The scene where Professor Xavier says "Teach me to *hope* again..." just punches me right in the heart.
My IC has stated she is afraid the anger I have is changing me and she wants me to come back.
I used to be so optimistic and energetic. Everyone called me a nice guy. I was outgoing, etc... I need to learn how to hope again.

Over the weekend my family also happened to go through a tragic loss and we'll likely all be together soon. I also saw the trailer for "This Is Where I Leave You" going around YouTube and I'm basically the Jason Bateman character at this point in my life.

I think I'm going to crawl into a hole for a couple days.

The really really shitty thing is that I studied film and going to the movies used to be one of the true joys in my life. I need to find happiness out there again.

Hi totalheartbreak,

One day you're going to wake up and go through the same motions that will get you through this. You'll the realize that life is almost back to normal. The pain will be gone and you'll actually feel alive again. Hang in there it will get better.
