So my official diagnosis is "really bad luck."

Two miscarriages due to trisomies, one with a Godzilla of a subchorionic hematoma and a too-tiny fetus.

My doctor, another doctor at my practice, and the three OBs that my sister talked to (she's an L&D nurse) all said they thought we should get karyotyping done, but this lady, she said no, no point in it.

They're going to check me for a couple of clotting disorders and they're checking my HCG - I'm bleeding slightly more heavily today and I THINK it might finally be a period, but I still got a positive pregnancy test (faint but definite) this morning. She was slightly concerned that the prior pregnancy might have been a partial molar pregnancy, but she said I just need to make sure my OB follows up with an ultrasound if I don't get to zero/get my period soon.

I'm so over this, y'all. Thanks for reading if you made it this far.

Wow. You most definitely should not still be getting positives. I'd keep on that one detail with your doctors.

So my official diagnosis is "really bad luck."

<SIGH> I hate answers like that. I'd hoped for more information for you.

I'm so over this, y'all.

Of course you are. I hope now that the appointment is done you can rest a bit.

Thanks so much for the hugs and encouragement. I just ordered this book:

http://www.tofullterm.com/

after seeing a recommendation on a loss board so I am hoping maybe it'll offer some ideas or at least some comfort.
