Hey all!

Just wondering what guilty TV pleasures everyone has! LOL

I have currently been watching Little Woman LA on the lifetime network. Not something I would usually watch, as I'm not one for "reality TV".

Other TV shows (maybe not so guilty?) I love include (in no particular order):

True Blood (HBO)
Penny Dreadful (showtime)
The Killing (Netflix for final season)
Hemlock Grove (on Netflix! New season in July!)
48 hours mystery (or anything on the Investigate Discovery channel! I love a good murder/mystery!)
Cosmo's: A Spacetime Odyssey (Neil Degrasse Tyson is the man!)
Dateline NBC
Nashville
Nurse Jackie
Life Below Zero (WBF loves this show)
Cold Justice
Fargo
Girls (HBO)
Masters of Sex (showtime)
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Cougar Town
Wilfred
Franklin and Bash
On the Case with Paula Zahn
Grimm
Glee

I just realized I named a crap ton of shows. LOL Good thing I have a DVR box and I can just record them and watch them when I have free time!

Anyways...what do you guys watch?!!

I watch A LOT of TV.

I think I watch a lot of quality shows, but my one slightly embarrassing guilty pleasure is Big Brother.

We don't watch very much at all. But we do have a few shows we make sure to watch every episode.

- Game of Thrones
- Walking Dead
-Boardwalk Empire

I personally LOVE Sleepy Hollow but don't watch it with dh. I also try to catch Law and Order SVU and Modern Family.

Dh watches Suits on his own.

Oh meta, I knew there was another reason we get along so well.

My shows:

1. Walking Dead
2. Supernatural
3. Sleep Hollow
4. Doctor Who (Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant only)

I wish Primeval was still on. I think they only made three seasons. I'd love to own that one.

Ah yes...I forgot to mention:

Game Of Thrones (just started watching season 1)

and of course, Breaking Bad!! - WBF and I watched the whole show on Netflix in about 2 weeks. lol

Walking Dead is cool, but for some reason I never got too into it. When its over I'll probably just watch every season like I did Breaking Bad haha

*sneaks in and looks around to make sure no one IRL is looking*

Ok...
I'm not a huge TV person, but I will admit that there are a few shows that I DVR and watch regularly.

1. Maury Povich (yeah, yeah I know )
THAT is really a guilty TV pleasure, but I swear watching these idiotic people never fails to make me feel a bit better about my (by comparison) trivial problems.

2. Naked and Afraid
3. Outlander. It doesn't start until August of this year, but I will be on that show like fleas on a dog.

but my one slightly embarrassing guilty pleasure is Big Brother

Me too DD22 & I watch it every summer and she always has to go back to school be fore the finale.

That and The Real World and The Challenge

I'm 50+ years old and watch 20-somethings acting stupid on TV. Oh, but I do watch for the competions! Yea, that's it.

I watch a lot of shows, but those are the ones I would classify as *guilty pleasures*

Can't miss an episode shows -
Shameless (such a fantastically entertaining train wreck)
Orphan Black
Longmire
Sherlock (the BBC series)

Guilty pleasures - (lordy, this is embarrassing)
Anything related to the paranormal. Ghosts, psychics, hautings... you name it. I'm there. As long as it's light outside.
If it's nighttime? Catfish. Or those "I Love The 90s" type shows from VH1.

My guilty pleasures? The ones I would deny ever watching until my death bed?

16 and pregnant
Kardashians (I don't make a point to watch it, but if I catch it on a marathon...)
True Blood (that show is just awful... but so good).
All of those home improvement shows (I don't own a home)

I watch a lot of different shows but there are only a few I'm embarrassed to admit to IRL:

Dance Moms
Hoarders
My 600lb life
Tabatha Takes Over

On a different note, if you're looking for a new show to watch and you have Netflix give "Moone Boy" a try. It is hilarious!!

Okay... My 600lb life sucks me in all the time, too.

My guiltiest pleasure? Impractical Jokers. It is puerile and ridiculous but I can laugh myself sick watching those fools.

Big Bang Theory
SVU
NCIS

And I have no idea why, but I enjoy Pawn Stars and Storage Wars (but NOT Hardcore Pawn or Storage Hunters, I have standards.)

I pretty much avoided TV while I was working. I just didn't make the time. Grading, planning and my mandatory bubble bath were all priorities. Now that I'm retired I'm making up for lost time. I'm enjoying the cop shows, the CSIs, the LAs, etc.

But I'm really loving Judge Judy!

Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite shows! haha Don't know how I missed it! Probably because its on break right now!

I'm gonna have to edit my original post if you guys keep reminding me of shows I watch and didn't write down!

Also...as my list keeps growing I'm starting to think I have a TV problem...haha.

Luckily, Like I said, I have a DVR box, so I have all these set up to record so I never miss an episode!

The two that I have a hard time admitting: Big Brother and Survivor. My DD sucked me into both this past year by binge watching. I was not watching at first, but then you watch a single challenge and then you want to know who goes home and then the next challenge and then all the sudden you know everyone's name... all in a single afternoon!

Of the less popular show (cause everyone loves Big Bang Theory -- how cannot not love Sheldon!):

Falling Skies
Dead Files
Catfish
Most any cooking contest (Top Chef, Next Food Network Star, Food Truck Wars,...)
Daily Show
Dr Phil (it's like a car wreck...you just HAVE to look!)

I watch very little TV these days because I work evenings. I do catch up on NCIS & NCIS LA and Sleepy Hollow on my computer. I don't consider them guilty pleasures.

My real guilty pleasure is occasionally watching QVC I used to keep them in business.

My favorite show that i am currently obsessed with is Banshee....its on cinemax.

I love big bang theory, real housewives (NY, OC, and NJ) and have started watching divas.

I also like hoarders, my strange addiction, and intervention. And I love dateline, 20/20, and What Would You Do?

I have heard great things about Orange is the New Black and want to watch it....dont know how similar it is to the book, but I read that and loved it.

Thanks for reminding me NIK. I watch these, too.

Even in the day I turn on all the lights and don't even think I'm going into the basement to do laundry.

When I'm asked why the electric bill is so high I just say "I have no idea."

Those shows do an excellent job of scaring the hell out of me. The scene will be all nice and fine, then all of a sudden there's a creepy ghost face right up against the TV.

Since D....I typically indulge in sitcom/humor shows.

I am not into anything that requires mega thinking yet (surprising since I am an big over-thinker).

For mindless, pure entertainment:
Impractical Jokers
Catfish

I have always been pretty stealth in researching OLD, but Catfish took me to an entirely different level of research

Lucky2HaveMe, The Challenge and The Real World are my guilty pleasure shows too. I don't really enjoy TRW any more, but I have to watch to see who ends up on the Challenge

I haven't seen the finale yet. Devyn is probably my favorite but I will be pulling for Laurel and Not Johnny Bananas in the final.

Oh and I suppose the other current guilty pleasure show I have is The Vampire Diaries. At least they are in college now so it's technically not a teen show. Anyway Ian Somerhalder is older than I am.

However, Little Woman LA is definitely a guilty pleasure...as it is pure crap and drama!

And Ian Somerhalder is hot! I was disappointing they didn't choose him for the 50 shades of Grey movie!!

I cringe even typing this....but I'm fascinated with Naked and Afraid.

And I think the little Puerto Rican real estate guy on Million Dollar Listings NY is really hot.

And I have a sick fascination with Sister Wives and My Five Wives

We don't have cable so Im limited to whats on hulu.. Lately Ive watched: Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Kitchen Nightmares, Hells Kitchen, Master Chef, Chopped, The Iron Chef and Cupcake Wars.. I don't watch a ton (just at night when the kids are sleeping but I can't) so I just put on whichever one I haven't seen in a while.

I watch too much tv but I can never sleep. Thank you for my DVR. Many of the shows listed I do not believe are guilty pleasure they are just good tv. So yes I will deny it too my grave but I have DVRed every episode of 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, Teen Mom 2, and Real Houswives of NJ. My best friend is the only one on earth who knows this about me. I keep no secrets from her. I always said if I ever do something I wouldn't tell her about I have done the wrong thing.

MissesJai-

I love RuPaul's Drag Race!!! I've watched every episode since Season 1 (I think Nina Flowers was robbed). It never even occurred to me that it might be considered a guilty pleasure show.

haha - yes he was!! Those eyes! After reading the books and hearing that he was being considered for the part, I thought was absolutely perfect for it! Just on looks alone, he fit Christian Grey to a T!

* (I dunno why he wasn't picked for it? Maybe he didn't want the part?)

CSI
Criminal Minds
Sherlock (BBC)
Elementary
Rizzoli & Isles
Top Gear (BBC)
Downton Abbey

The guilty pleasure stuff:

Buying and Selling (yes, I think the Scott twins are pretty hot)
Guys Grocery Games
Cutthroat Kitchen
Pawn Stars

dameiaI don't count it as guilty. It's drama for days, though. Those queens can READ!! Yes, Nina Flowers was absolutely robbed. She's a class act. So, do you agree with the winner of this season, Bianca Del Rio? I freakin' love her!!!! She is hilarious!!!!!

I love, love, LOVE Bianca! She was my favorite from the beginning and I'm so glad she won. Funny and mean as hell, but it seems like she's a sweetheart underneath it all.

Wow - with the exception of BBT... I don't watch any of the shows you all watch.

The Middle
Modern Family
The Millers
The Goldbergs
The Crazy Ones

We don't have HBO or Showtime.
We watch a lot of movies from 40's, 50's & 60's on TCM.
And lots of live sports... Baseball, football and college basketball.

My absolute TV guilty pleasure is Made In Chelsea. You guys won't know it because it's an English reality show about pretty, young posh people living in London. It is cringingly good. Please feel free to look up on youtube, it's confusing but funny. Just don't laugh too much at the accent, I speak like that too!

I LOVE The Goldbergs!

Not only did I grow up during that time, but I also grew up in that area (like a town over) - so it's kinda cool. They have mostly been accurate, but there's a few stretches of truth to make it work.

That said - I don't watch much else 'regular channel TV' other than Modern Family.

Most of my shows are on 'cable' channels and I watch a lot of garbage that I won't admit to. Sadly, it's not even 'premium cable' channel shows - it's more like BRAVO and TLC. But I feel like saying I'm a really big ID (Investigation Discovery) fan kinda makes up for it? (yes, I know - not really)
