After a break from IC, I had my first appt with someone recommended to me. She was amazing. Very on target, and I really think she can help me to progress.

I'm doing well with my healing, XWH is only an occasional afterthought in my life, but I struggle with setting and achieving life goals. And I feel like I'm in a bit of a rut.

My new job is not feeling like the right fit at the moment, not so much the job itself, but the work environment is not very supportive. So I feel like I'm at a crossroads in multiple areas of my life.

I was even able to throw out an issue that is very hard to discuss, and she fielded it well.

She doesn't take insurance, so I'm paying out of pocket, but my first impression is that it will be worth it.

I joke that I'm a therapy junkie because I've gone fairly regularly throughout my life. The advantage to that is that I think I have a fairly good ability to recognize a strong IC when I see one. And I think she's the real deal. I'm really excited.

Isn't it great to find a good IC? It's amazing the difference it can make!
