My bed just got hauled away. Gave it to someone off of Facebook.
I got that bed as a wedding present. Maybe it's petty of me, but it felt really REALLY good to be rid of it.
12/18/15 found out my now EX boyfriend was trolling CL for underage girls. From the cops. The fun never stops.

SO has a nice new-ish queen size bed, so we planned to use his in the new place. (mine was only a full)
So I'm gonna crash on my air mattress until then. Only a little more than a week to go!

I gave my King away and it went to a good home too. My future wasn't with that bed.

We get the keys to the new place on Friday. They are still finishing up a few things but they are going to let SO move his things in over the weekend. (he can't take time off work for the move) I have movers booked for a week from today. I will be 100% out of here by the end of next week.
SO asked if I wanted to move in together way back in July. I think for both of us it seemed so far away that the day would never arrive.
I am so excited!!! I want it to be next week already.

Good for you DCK!
Getting rid of the marital bed was cathartic for me. I had to sleep on a crappy twin sized trundle for a week, but it was the best sleep i'd gotten in months!

I was going through some old papers and actually found a book of checks from my old joint account, with both my and XH's names on them. That was strange to see.
I have so many papers to shred!!!

We got the keys yesterday and signed the lease and stuff. It's OURS!!! Yay!!!
SO has a truck rented for tomorrow to move his things. I have movers booked for most of my stuff Wednesday. I am staying in my apartment thru next week so I can continue to work as I telecommute and we won't have the internet set up right away at the new place.
A week from now, we will both be 100% moved in. I can't wait!!! This coming week is going to be the longest week ever.
Oh also, cute thing he said the other day. We were chatting on IM and he said how excited his mom was for us. I was like awww... And then he said it was probably because she knows how happy I make him.
