So. Met with my IC for the first time since August; told her the whole sorry tale. She just nodded sagely. Instead of telling me I was a doormat, she said I was showing incredible strength and gave me insights I to CSA that helped a lot.
She said the people who sent that anonymous letter 7 months ago expected I would run screaming and I was showing them. Cry, scream, then get to work.
Why did I wait so long?

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.
