Ok, LadyV, when you put it that way, I have to 100% agree that a Shirtless Alcide and a Shirtless Jessica hour would be very good indeed.

He a man who looka likea man.

I LOVE Pam. I love her dry wit, sarcasm, and her fashion sense.

I HATED "weepy Eric please love me" Pam. She is MUCH better on her game than being a crybaby.

That said. I think she is taking this Maker business very seriously. Yeah, she blackmailed Sookie into helping her mend her relationship with Eric, but I really think she feels like a "mother" to Tara now.

All that time reminiscing about when she first met Eric---and she forced him to turn her---I think has made her see that being a Maker is not something you can blow off.

I love Pam. <3

I also adore Jessica. She's so....human. Still. I hope she stays "human".

*edited to talk about Russell*

I love Russell. He's crazy. He's hilarious. He's vicious. Around our house we call him RFE. "Russell Fucking Edgington".

*spoiler alert*

Don't read if you haven't watched this weeks episode 7/15/12 unless you don't care about finding out stuff.

I am so effing confused about the Authority. Where those guys enforcers for the Authority or not? The guys who killed all those humans on the bus? I think they must work for RFE!

And, no more Roman? Is there even an Authority anymore? YIKES! Watch out humans! I have learned to never ever trust a vampire. You just can't.

Are fairies good or bad? I am not sure about that, either.

I think they're just supposed to be like any other super, some good, some bad. The bad seem to have more influence across the board.

I have an issue.

The Jessica/Tara fight. WHY WHY WHY was Tara allowed to kick Jessica's ass? JESSICA is OLDER, and in True Blood world OLDER = STRONGER.

Hoyt is an idiot.

eta:

I don't think RFE was actually staking Roman. I think he was just hurting him really badly. From what I understand, Meloni's Guardian is supposed to be one of the central characters this season.

Fairies....

Yeah, good and bad. I am not impressed with who they chose for Claude. After reading the books.....he's supposed to be sex on legs.

I agree a bit on account of Tara being so new, but I don't think a few years is much difference in strength, it's usually the centuries older that make people cower. Also Tara was stronger as a human, and spent a year or so off season time as a professional fighter. Even if the strength doesn't carry over, she has to have some tactical experience that would.

ETA: If age was the only factor in a fight, the show would get pretty boring because you would always know who would win, or they wouldn't even bother fighting.

^^Good point, I forgot about Tara's foray into paid fighting.

She'd definitely have the advantage over a girl who was raised in strict household.

I have a much better perspective on that now!!!

Good point, itainteasy. I thought I had read that Meloni was a central character and only 4 or 5 episodes in being dispatched wouldn't be so central. Plus, would he give up his gig on Law & Order just for a few episodes of True Blood?

I would have liked Tara and Jessica to become besties. I am sorry, I feel sorry for Hoyt. He only wants to be loved. And everyone is just mean to him.

Love this show... confused by this season. My head spins when I try to figure out what is going on with the Authority... is Lilith a good or bad thing? I am just very confused.

And about Pam - she become very ugly, didn't she? I know she had the skin issue because of the witch, but I thought that was healed? Something just looks very different about her - it's like she aged 20 years, and not kindly.

Still, love the show. Love eye-candy Alcide (even if his eyes are a bit too close together). I'll keep watching just for him.

Yeah, sometimes I think Pam thinks really good and then other times not so much. I am wondering if she had some "work" done and it makes her look kind of off, and not a very good job whoever did it to her.

I've seen recent interviews with the actor who plays Pam recently and she doesn't bad at all. Certainly not as bad as Pam looks. I think they're styling Pam strangely. I don't know. I do not like her look this season at all.

*spoiler alert* 7/22/12 episode

I had to stay up late and watch the 1:00 am broadcast because I just couldn't wait for a later in the week broadcast.

I am so very disappointed in Eric and Bill. I told the humans they had better beware now that Roman is dead. It does seem that we won't be seeing Roman again.

Even Alcide I am disappointed in, but not as much. I thought he really cared for Sookie and just wouldn't take advantage of available tush because he could.

And, I did feel sorry for Hoyt, but you all were right. He is going down the wrong path.

I didn't really "like" this episode at all.

There was a huge focus on people not being in control of their own actions. Alcide was glamored by Eric in a previous episode and directed to stay away from Sookie. That explains a lot of his behavior.

Bill and Eric I'm less clear on. They seemed to be "high" on Lilith's blood, but then Eric had the whole Godric vision thing going on that was basically his conscience telling him he knew this was wrong. It was not my favorite part.

I am curious about what will happen with Lilith. And I don't think we've seen the last of the Guardian.

^I agree. I think we'll see Roman somehow.

Watching those vampires tripping on Lilith's blood was hilarious to me.

And RFE. His "come to Lilith" attitude is killing me!

My prediction is that the vamps are somehow going to bring Lilith back, and that will be the great evil Sookie has to fight this season.

I couldn't belive that Jason shot Jessica in the head!!!

Hoyt is an idiot. Sam will kill him.

Gift for the lay-deez. NSFW in the sense that True Blood is NSFW but not in any porn way:

http://fyeahjoemanganiello.com/page/2

I think y'all know how I feel about STRANGER BITCHES WHO DON'T EVEN GO TO THIS SCHOOL. I dislike them on principle. That stranger bitch (literally), though, is serving a useful purpose. So I'm conflicted. Why can't it be Jessica? Oh that's right, Jessica is busy being abused.

Anyway, back to Alcide. I'm a simple woman with simple tastes. I cannot get over what that guy brings to a frequently-laundered Henley and a pair of jeans. Does not even need anything fancy. And he *growls* and it *works*. Jaysus.

Also, "Hey, Alcide!" done in a sing-songy syrupy Southern voice? Can totally be used in any situation "How you doin'?" /Tribbiani can be used.

It nagged him, in particular, that none of the girls he’d known so far had given him a sense of unalloyed triumph.

Fuck, yeah! Thanks LadyV.

Yeah, not liking the STRANGER BITCHES, either.

My very favorite part of the latest episode (July 29th) was when Alcide leapt on the bed (and unfortunately, the stranger bitch). As you say, LadyV, at least she served for the greater good.

On another note, really disliking Bill more and more. I was not a fan of Eric, but I am coming around. Really liking Eric, in a friend kind of way!

I am really perplexed, too. Is there nothing in the human media about the blood bath at the bar? Don't you think that there would be some repercussions to the vampires? I mean RFE is on the loose, don't you think all the humans would be freaking out?

F2S, back to the previous episodes. I thought (and obviously I could be wrong) that Sookie figured out that Alcide had been glamoured and that she undid it when they were sitting in her kitchen?

Did anyone notice what music was playing during that sex scene with Alcide this week (7/29)? Howlin Wolf? SERIOUSLY?

12/18/15 found out my now EX boyfriend was trolling CL for underage girls. From the cops. The fun never stops.
