I was just trolling forums while I couldn't sleep, checking up on threads I have followed. I wanted you to know
Called him monday and hung up realized what a f!@$ UP I am.
Admitting that was one of the bravest things I have seen in a long time. Yes it was a mistake to call, but you should celebrate the strength to hang up when you were so close.
(Oh I should add, don't go celebrating that in front of your BH, he won't see it that way, because yes the clearly non-essential call will hurt him. I hope you can be as open and undefensive with your BH)

Do not back up. Severe tire damage.
