I suck at drinking plain water, too. I do like it when I'm exercising or very hot, but otherwise I need it spiked with something. Bourbon works.

I baked and ate chocolate chip cookies today. <Shrug> It's Sunday/cheat day.

I have a few tricks with water.

First, I make sure and drink at least 2 glasses right when I get up. I'm usually thirsty and it's easy to drink it then.

Then I have a big mug that I fill with ice and water and a squirt of lemon juice. The lemon adds something and makes it easier to drink. I keep it on my desk and drink during the day -refilling at least once.

I try to drink a glass of water before meals.

Herbal teas count too.

Almost all the fast food places have nutrition info on their websites. I've studied it for the restaurants I'm mostly likely to end up at and it's really helped me to make better choices. I've picked out a few "better options" from places and I stick to that.

Well....I have fallen off the wagon but haven't put any weight on. I was sick for quite a while with a never ending cold and now have a crisis in my M that has me very emotional so it's hard for me to stay focused when I'm so upset. He got text messages that were inappropriate from coworkers that he's going to be in Orlando with this week and I saw them. So it's got me spiraled a bit but I'm not going to let it beat me down. I'm not going to stress eat because that is what got me so overweight this time. I should add, he's not cheating but he's still got no boundaries set and I have a huge problem with this.

I'm watching my intake and I'm trying to stay busy. I'm going to work out tomorrow night and I'm going to hit it hard to eliminate some stress too.

Keep pushing me guys....I need to lose my last ten pounds since I've done the first 38 lbs. Keep pushing me so I get to the finish line. I don't care how long it takes because it's a lifestyle change for me....it's not a diet. I tell myself this every day.

You all are doing so great. I'm proud of you guys and keep up the great work. You guys are my inspiration right now.

I understand about dropping off the wagon when you are sick. You just have to take a step back in the right direction. Then another, then another. Next thing you know the poounds will be falling off again.

My WW and I are going to a pilates class tonight to try it out and may get a gym membership if we like it. I really need flexibility training. My left knee and shoulders tend to 'pop' when I am working out. Don't know if I'm just getting old at 39 or have done a little to much damage to myself over time. We shall see.

1.5 pounds left and I've reached my next goal. I've been on a plateau for about 3 weeks. I stepped on the scale this morning and saw that I'm on 1.5 pounds away. I can do this!!!!!

Now with summer swim starting soon, I'll be busy and moving 6 days a week. I walk to and from practice nearly everyday. I love doing that too.

For Click and others who have a hard time drinking water.

I read this tip several years ago, and I do it sometimes just because I like the taste of it.

Eat a sugar free mint or chew some sugar free gum before or during drinking the water. It gives it a 'clean, crisp' taste and makes it much easier. My personal favorite is cinnamon flavored gum, but I like spearmint too.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Ok ladies, I did it. It was unbelievably hard, but I did it. I came in 20232 out of 23198, lol. But one year ago I made a promise to myself to get healthy. 40 lbs later, I'm doing a half marathon and searching for others. I really needed this to get me motivated again. I'm an emotional eater and I have really been struggling lately with my diet. But I am recharged and ready to tackle the next 40 lbs. I swear I'm gonna make my daughters proud.

I kept my sunglasses on because I had just been crying like a baby, lol. So emotional when you accomplish something like that. I did a 30 mile bikeride in October and bawled like a baby then too.

Well so far I've lost 4.5lbs. I can't remember if its a total of 4 weeks or 3 that I've started eating "right" again. But if I can lose 4 lbs a month, I will be more than happy!

Nape- I am aiming to lose 70 and I'm 1/4 of the way there. I could probably stand to lose more than that (I'm 5'7" and my goal weight is 180, some may say that's too high), but I am aiming for something I can sustain without starving or having to exercise non-stop.

Hope it's okay to join you guys here.

I did WW a few years ago and had great success.

I've been stress eating a lot over the winter and it's starting to creep up on me, (again). Hoping to lose those 15 lbs. and get toned too.

My problem is the snacking, (especially on the wrong things) at night. I'm trying to SO HARD to get out of this habit, but as I type this I am going bonkers.

Any ideas on snacks that are 0 or 2pts. that I can eat?

Veggies are zero points, arent they?

Microwave popcorn is also relatively low points if I remember correctly. (I did WW 5 years ago or so)
