I'm down a pound, so I definitely met my memorial day "mini-goal." 3 more pounds til my official goal.

I can't wait until my lunch hour so I can get out and walk. I never used to like exercising and now I feel like I can't go a day without it!

Had my kashi with blueberries - great way to start the day.

Monday morning - new week, let's all make it a good one.

Thanks, broken. I need inspiration. I'm proud of you for meeting your goal. The workout part for me is no problemo. I'm just pushing my body to drop bodyfat that it just doesn't wanna let go of, and my hunger is through the roof. I want to compete at under 10% at least, preferably less. So basically, that's about 13 more weeks of chicken breasts, tuna, oatmeal and brown rice.

I would kill someone for a piece of fruit right now.

Good luck annben - I think that is awesome. I know you can do it!!!!

I don't have much inspiration - I am down 1.5 lb this week for a grand total of 19. My weight loss has been very slow and steady - I guess the good part is that I have not been yo-yo ing (up and down). My goal is 40 lbs and while I am almost halfway there, I am trying to be patient.

Broken - glad to hear you have hit the Memorial Day goal!!!

CB, what are you talking about - down a pound and a half is fantastic! Slow and steady is definitely the way to go.

I work on the third floor and this morning I went upstairs to a meeting on the fourth floor. I haven't been up there in a while and everyone was coming up to me, telling how great I look and asking how I lost weight.

annben, I couldn't live without carbs. Even though I've cut out most white carbs, I think I'd kill someone if I didn't have fruit or at least a piece of whole wheat bread!

You can do this though. Think about how good you'll feel when you get there!

Hi all,

Weighed in with 3.5 loss! I have broken the 30 lb mark in 3 mos.

I should be able ot easily meet my goal of being under 220 by my B-day in 2 weeks, only 3 more lbs to go.

Switched to Dannon's light and fit larger cup @ 60 cals and it fills me up a little better than the 40cal ones, plus it is only 1 point vs 2 for the yoplait. Also no high fructose corn syrup.

Annben, what diet r u on that you can't have any fruit?

Keep up the good work ladies, and don't worry about minor setbacks.

OMG!!! I went shopping today and bought a pair of pants - size 4! From 12-14s to 4. They look good but will look even better if I lose a pound or two and if I can tighten up the abs!

CB, I think sw's been taking a break from the weightloss, focusing on a few other things...

But check out the pics in F&G of her from the chicago get together last weekend. I'm glad to see she had some fun!

CapN, that's great! congratulations!

Hang in there gang, this is the first time I've had any real success with weightloss in 20 years. If I can do it, anyone can!

Broken that is absolutely awesome!!!! So proud of you. I am a size 14 and I can't imagine making it to a 4. I was striving for a 10. I haven't been in the single digits in 23 years.

Now, in the "leaning-out phase" it's at about 1200. And lots more cardio. When I was adding muscle, I was above 2300. Although it was an extremely clean 2300, with one cheat day per week. I allowed myself fruit then, and very occasionally bread. I was lifting much heavier.

Now, I'm easing up on the poundage. I have enough muscle mass for a very local and ameteur show. I just need to get as lean as possible to make all that muscle visible. And if 1200 seems low, keep in mind I'm only 103 pounds anyhow, and have a lower caloric need than most folks. Although there are days that my appetite is such that I can easily eat triple or quadruple that. Like today, for instance.

Hi.

Well, I haven't exercised much this week - the weather has been bad and it threw off my walking routine. Last night I used some light weights and did arm exercises...

I've been pretty good with the eating - although I had too many carbs yesterday. The bad ones.

The weather has finally cleared and I'm going hiking this weekend, so that will get me moving.

Hope everyone is doing okay.

Just finished pilates and step aerobics. Going to plant flowers and 4 trees.

Hope everyone has a plan for staying on track for the weekend. Even if we don't stay on track, let's help each other get back on track next week

Broken - you are my hero. I've just dropped into a size 10 (started at a 16). Can't wait until the single digits!!!

I know I should exercise today, but I just don't want to!

Anyhow, I peeked at the scale today and I'm below the "200's" now and I'm excited again. If I can just stay away from all the tempting stuff this weekend, maybe I can actually lose a couple of pounds this week!!

Good job everyone, you are doing fantastic!!
