The absolute BEST book out there for Christians is "Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires; The Respect He Desperately Needs" by Emerson Eggerichs.

H and I are 5 years post d-day and we were recovering nicely, but since both reading this book in the past couple of months our relationship has even improved more. It's really a life changing book. It's taught us both so much about each other and ourselves and our relationship with God.

I PROMISE you - it's worth the read.

My couples bible study group just ordered the DVD set for small groups. It comes with workbooks.

I have already read the book.

The basic principle of the book is that women need love and men need respect. And that we must give it to each other regardless of how we feel because God wants us to do it.

Based on Ephesians 5:33 "However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."

It's a great book.

My FWH & I read this book also, still have it on our bookshelf. It is most definitely worth buying.

If you want to see if his ideas "speak" to you, I encourage you to visit his website:

There is quite a bit of reading & excerpts from the book that you should get an idea if the book is good for you. I believe the book is also highly rated on Amazon.

We really, really enjoyed the book. I think he's right on regarding they way men & women operate.

Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend til you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then You Stand
