who else shops at thrift stores?
last night was a half price sale for a couple hours at the thrift store... everything in the place was half off
i got three kids summer wardrobes , and a pair of jeans, a tank, a summer skirt, a tshirt and a pair of shorts for me, and three webkinz and found the elusive talking barney that my youngest has been mourning since hers got killed....
all in all a large garbage bag full of stuff for under 40 bucks...
i love deals
i wish i had more time though... i never got out of the clothing and kids sections....

oooooo, love love love thrift store shopping!
there's a wonderful consignment shop here where you bring in say a pair of jeans, and for $1 you "trade" them for another pair in the shop. same with tops and other clothes. only kids clothes though, but what a deal!!!!
but it seems like the older kids clothes are harder to come by...

i mostly find stuff for roo... because she's 11 so can hit the kids stuff or the ladies small and xsmall... bless those teensy weensy tight styles... they are perfect for kids
she got a bunch of those longer tight fitting t's and tanks... all in the ladies section... boggles my mind really... cuz she's a waify little 11 yr old... works for me though...

I love thrift stores. I don't have much luck on clothing since I am still in plus sizes. But I buy a lot of purses at secondhand stores.
I am obsessed with purses and this way I can feed my obsession on a smaller budget.
12/18/15 found out my now EX boyfriend was trolling CL for underage girls. From the cops. The fun never stops.

i thought of you and the other purse mavens last night...
they were auctioning off some 500 dollar purse... and various other high end items...
i did find a cool brown leather roots purse for a buck 
roo loves purses
if i was a purse person i might have bought a ticket on the other one...

I have had a lot of luck on getting brand name purses (I have a Kate Spade and a Prada that I got secondhand), but thrift store employees are strating to catch on. A lot of places will now mark up or auction high-end bags.
Mmm.... I am in the mood to go purse shopping now! Maybe I will hit some garage sales tomorrow (aka yard sales or tag sales to people not from MN).

Our oldest has started getting into the Abercrombie, Etc- You can find brands like this for pennies on the dollar.
